Having travelled internationally to speak before diverse audiences consisting of as many as 25,000 attendees, Ms. Parks has distinguished herself as an expert life coach and business leader. In the former capacity, she is certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors and engages with clients to craft appropriate strategies for personal or professional advancement. In individual sessions as well as small group coaching, she utilizes technology like Zoom to offer convenient, accessible meetings. Ms. Parks positions herself as an accountability partner for her clients so she can share in the challenges of making personal and professional progress.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1981 and is proud to have personally paid her way through college. As one of few women early in the industry, Ms. Parks considered herself a pioneer in this competitive field.
In 2009, Ms. Parks started leading conferences to build and encourage younger women. She became president and founder of Winter Summit Ministries, Inc. She has gone on to earn additional credentials, including an Advanced Certificate in Life Coaching from Light University in 2018. Through Corporate Care Inc., a company that supplies chaplains to businesses, Ms. Parks ministers in a corporate settings as well, extending her reach to the personnel working in various industry sectors. Ms. Parks is a prolific author. Her first book, “Are You Enough: Encouragement for the Overworked and Exhausted Homeschool Mom” was published in 2013 and shares details of her journey through the challenges of homeschooling. She has written over 17 YouVersion Bible reading plans with over one million downloads to date. These topical plans provide subscribers with biblically centered, culturally relevant content to encourage and build their faith. Her first 15 reading plans were reformatted and published in 2021 as her second book, “Breathe: 101 Life-Giving Devotionals.”
Ms. Parks is proud of her 37-year marriage and of her four children and 2 grandsons. As the 2022 Ms. Oklahoma Senior America, she represented the state of Oklahoma at the national competition in Hershey, PA in September 2022 where she was named a finalist. She attributes much of her success to an unfailingly positive perspective about life and its challenges and is currently engaged in expanding the scope of her speaking platform to share her optimistic message with more people across the country. STATEMENT OF FAITH
I believe that all the words of the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.
I believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
I believe that Jesus is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, according to the Scriptures. Further, He rose bodily from the dead and ascended into Heaven, where at the right hand of God the Father, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
I believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict men, regenerate the sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for Godly living and service.
I believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
I believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God.
I believe that the true church is composed of such persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ, of which He is the head.
I believe the Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the church.
